Durable, compact portable compressors under 750 kg

Compact, service-friendly and powerful, MOBILAIR portable compressors with diesel engine impress not only on account of their high delivery volumes – a multitude of equipment options make these efficient machines into multi-talented compressed air powerhouses.

Robust construction ensures trouble-free operation in ambient temperatures ranging from -10 °C to +45 °C, whilst roto-moulded PE enclosures (optional) provide excellent impact protection and value retention. This makes them ideally equipped to face the tough everyday conditions found on construction sites. All model variants weigh well under 750 kg (except the M65), making them suitable even for smaller towing vehicles.

They also demonstrate their versatility when it comes to their areas of application. Whether it's for sandblasting, blowing out formwork, or powering impact moles and breakers, these high-performance powerhouses always cut an impressive figure. What's more, when specified with the optional generator, they are transformed into portable power plants, capable of providing compressed air and/or electricity as required.

Performance data:

  • Flow rate up to 6.6 m³/min (230 cfm)
  • Gauge working pressure up to 14 bar (200 psi)

Your benefits:

  • Cool, clean compressed air
The compressed air is cooled to 7 °C above ambient temperature. The compressed air cooler is installed at an angle, allowing accumulated condensate to drain away easily, whilst the hot exhaust gases from the engine are used to aid condensate evaporation. This prevents the cooler from freezing up as a result of accumulating condensate. Additional air treatment components can be installed alongside the aftercooler and centrifugal separator, in order to achieve compressed air quality that meets defined quality standards.
  • Durable and resilient
Versions equipped with the polyethylene enclosure option show their true strength in adverse operating conditions, thanks to their impressive impact resistance.
  • Diverse options
A multitude of cleverly designed options make these portable compressors even more versatile. Thanks to the availability of options such as compressed air treatment, a hose reel, a hammer compartment, refinery equipment or a closed floor pan, they can be perfectly matched to any application.

Pressure and flow rate flexibility

Thanks to pV control, maximum pressure (p) – adjustable in steps of 0.1 bar between 6 and 14 bar – directly influences the maximum possible flow rate (V), thereby providing even greater flexibility in terms of both pressure and flow rate. This feature is particularly beneficial when working with longer hose lines. pV control is fitted as standard on the MOBILAIR M59 / M59PE and the M65PE.

No more compressed air devices freezing up

The Anti-Frost Control for portable compressors precisely adjusts operating temperature in relation to ambient. In combination with the optional tool lubricator, this feature prevents air tools from freezing up and therefore significantly extends their service life.

Our compact compressors in detail

Other colours for the enclosure and custom paintwork for metal components are available upon request.

In some cases, immediate access to a permanent supply of compressed air is too important to permit the luxury of time for towing a compressor around, finding a place for it, uncoupling it, connecting it, setting it up and then, finally, putting it to use – only to have to repeat the process in reverse once the job has been completed.

The Utility series is designed as MOBILAIR stationary construction compressors, in particular for placement on vehicles, and easy operation and servicing.

This powerful and versatile duo makes things much simpler and quicker: both the M 57utility and M 58utility can be set up on the loading bed of an HGV and require only minimal space. This means that there is always enough room for material and tools; consequently the vehicle is transformed into a compact rapid-response unit, making it ideal for applications such as replacing the crash barriers on a motorway, since there is no need to close an entire section of the road.

Whether installed on a loading bed or on a construction site, these compact units fit in perfectly wherever they are needed. Designed and optimised for permanent operation from a loading bed, these portable powerhouses offer excellent accessibility to the control panel, fuel tank and oil level gauge from the front side of the unit. Moreover, with additional options such as adjustable machine feet, tool lubricators and compressed air aftercoolers, these machines can be perfectly adapted to the relevant work environment.

A large fuel tank volume allows long shifts of up to ten hours in continuous operation. Forklift pockets in the closed standard base frame ensure safe, dependable manoeuvrability via forklift truck.

Environmentally friendly and low-emissions

Series models M59, M65 and M82 are certified to EU Directive 2016/1628, Stage V.

Series models M59 an M65 are designed to provide clean air – not just for low emission zones – certified to EU Directive 2016/1628, Stage V. Furthermore, with a diesel particulate filter fitted as standard, these environmentally friendly powerhouses meet the stringent requirements of the Swiss Clean Air Act.
