KAESER compressors, blowers and treatment components can be accepted and approved by all notable vessel classification societies, including Lloyd’s Register, CCS, ABS, DNV, Rina, Korean Register, Bureau Veritas, and ClassNK. Classification societies monitor and document compliance with the relevant guidelines and confer the corresponding class accordingly. The assigned class represents an assessment of a vessel’s seaworthiness and therefore a basis for insurance of the vessel and its cargo, as well as trade of the vessel itself.

KAESER is available for type tests for all notable classification societies. Separate approvals can be granted on a case-by-case basis for classification societies not covered by type approvals. Type-testing makes certification quick and simple.
In order to minimise delivery times for our marine customers, and also to reduce the carbon footprint of our activities, KAESER prefers to carry out the required approvals remotely if the applicable classification society offers such a service.
Our state-of-the-art test facilities for marine compressors, including live-streaming connectivity, offer all the necessary equipment to undertake remote inspections in the best way possible. This means the customer can participate in the approval process from anywhere in the world, without needing to worry about travel time, costs or waiting times, and benefiting from direct communication with our marine compressor experts.
